During the ongoing International Fair of Machines, Tools, and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industry DREMA 2026 in Poznań, EVSolutions' safety technologies are showcased at a stand prepared in collaboration with the market leader in occupational safety — SEKA S.A. The woodworking, sawmilling, and furniture industries are environments with an elevated risk of fire. Alongside traditional hazards associated with flammable materials, paints, or wood dust, production facilities are now facing a new technological challenge: the mass use of lithium-ion batteries in power tools..

Intensive use of batteries, exposure to falls from heights, vibrations, and cell defects in an environment filled with sawdust create a high risk of rapid ignition. In the case of lithium-ion batteries, traditional extinguishing methods prove ineffective.

At the trade fair stand in Poznań, experts demonstrate proven engineering procedures for securing charging zones of tools and isolating damaged battery packs.

Visitors to the demonstration area can participate in a series of interactive workshops and simulations:

• Certified fire containment blankets: The operation of specialized technical fabrics was demonstrated on a full-sized passenger car at the stand. This solution allows for the immediate cutting off of oxygen supply, suppression of open flames, and drastic reduction of thermal radiation, preventing the fire from spreading to the production hall infrastructure.

• Smoke simulation tent: Organized by instructors from SEKA S.A. and rescuers from FIREMEN, the training space allows participants to safely test their behavior during evacuation in thick smoke and near-zero visibility.

• Practical training in using fire extinguishers: A training station where specialists verify fire suppression techniques in their infancy and teach the correct response in the first seconds after detecting a threat.
