EVSolutions and the Polish Chamber of Electric Mobility Development (PIRE) have signed a formal agreement to strengthen their partnership. Both organizations have been jointly involved in the development of the Polish electric mobility sector for nearly five years. The signing of the document by Mateusz Gawroniuk (EVSolutions) and Krzysztof Burda (President of the PIRE Board) represents a natural step towards standardizing fire safety procedures and enhancing the technical competencies of the market.

The collaboration combines PIRE's position in industry dialogue with EVSolutions' practical engineering knowledge in the area of lithium-ion battery fire prevention, quarantine infrastructure, and workshop procedures.

Key areas of joint initiatives

The agreement focuses on four priority areas of action:

• Technical education and combating misinformation: Countering sensational myths surrounding battery technologies. The actions are based on hard data, laboratory tests, and engineering analyses regarding the phenomenon of Thermal Runaway.

• Developing guidelines for EV infrastructure: Active participation in working groups creating fire safety standards for multi-station charging hubs, underground garages, large-scale facilities, and authorized service stations (ASO).

• Coordination of intersectoral dialogue: Building a platform of agreement connecting investors, fleet operators, and property managers with the State Fire Service (PSP) and insurance companies regarding real risk assessment.

• Workshops, training, and industry presentations: Practical preparation of technical and managerial staff for the safe handling of high-voltage (HV) vehicles and the implementation of certified protective equipment, including CARPORT quarantine tents, early detection systems, and approved fire containment tarps.

A unified voice in the energy transformation

The dynamic increase in the number of electric vehicles and energy storage systems requires a parallel development of operational standards. The joint actions of EVSolutions and PIRE aim to provide the market with clear, verified procedures that eliminate risks without hindering the development of green transport.
