The first ecell-guard CarPort is on its way to Poland: Innovative quarantine and safe EV charging zone

The development of electromobility in Poland is not only about expanding the charging network but, above all, the necessity to meet new challenges in the area of fire safety and service infrastructure. We are pleased to announce that soon we will present the first external ecell-guard CarPort in Poland – a solution designed specifically for the safe storage, quarantine, and charging of electric vehicles.

Dedicated quarantine area for vehicles with damaged batteries

The main function of the ecell-guard CarPort is to create an isolated, external safety zone intended for the quarantine of accident-damaged vehicles or those with defective traction batteries.

In the event of a dangerous thermal runaway phenomenon, the key task of the infrastructure is to control the situation and secure the surroundings. ecell-guardCarPort utilizes patented technology ecell-guard BASIC, which provides:

• Controlled gas discharge generated during lithium-ion cell failures,

• Limitation of the event's impact on adjacent buildings, other vehicles, and facility infrastructure,

• Minimization of the risk of fire and high temperature spread.

Dual functionality: Quarantine and safe renewable energy charging

In addition to its protective function, the ecell-guard CarPort can serve as a daily, fully functional charging area for electric and hybrid vehicles.

The structure is modular, allowing for flexible configuration based on the individual needs of the investor. The system can be equipped with:

• Photovoltaic installation (PV): Harnessing free, clean energy from the sun,

• AC/DC charging stations: Tailored to the fleet parameters and service requirements,

• Energy Management System (EMS): Optimizing consumption and power distribution in the facility,

• Solutions enhancing energy independence: Ensuring business continuity.

We do not impose rigid schemes. Each ecell-guard CarPortis designed individually, creating solutions perfectly matched to the spatial and operational requirements of a given location – from single quarantine stations to complete ecosystems combining fire protection, charging, and renewable energy sources.

The solution is dedicated to:

• Authorized Service Stations (ASO) and independent services,

• Damage repair centers and bodywork-paint shops,
