FIPROTEX GOLD S-TYPE – Uncompromising protection up to 1600°C
The S-TYPE insulation blanket was developed in Germany in collaboration with fire service experts specifically for the automotive industry, showrooms, charging stations, and bodywork and paint services.
Key technical advantages:

Extreme thermal resistance: Continuous resistance up to approx. 1100°C, short-term 1200–1300°C, with a melting point of up to 1600°C.

Safe seam construction: All seams are made with an overlap and sewn with a special, ultra-durable steel thread.

No 'balloon' effect: The blanket is partially permeable to fire gases, preventing it from lifting under pressure during a fire.

Health safety: It has a safety data sheet compliant with EU regulations – the fibers do not become airborne and are skin-friendly.

Full electrical insulation: The material does not conduct electricity, which is crucial when extinguishing high-voltage lithium-ion batteries (compliance with DIN 54345-1).
